Adapt Overcome Improvise
New combatants must complete the New Combatives Training before testing for the Khaki belt. The instructor will assess the new combatant for retraining or qualify the new combatant to test for the Khaki belt which is a month-long assessment. During Combatives training, combatants will sign a liability waiver, learn about Jesus Christ, Combatives principles, basic fighting in the 7 levels of a fight, ambush principles, study fights, participate in fight labs, train in blocks, strikes, kicks, take downs, grappling, ground fighting, close range combat, basic Combatives sequences, firearms training, weapons fighting, and road marches. Belt testing is a month-long assessment in which the combatant must demonstrate the ability to adapt, overcome, and improvise in the modern battlefield. Train like Paratroopers!
